In 1978 James Griffin saw a need for pre-engineered steel buildings in the Northern Mississippi/Ripley area. That same year James formed his association with Butler Manufacturing—the premier manufacturer of pre-engineered steel building in the United States—and began what is now known as Griffin Classic Builders, Inc.
